Who am I?

Hello, in case you haven't seen it yet, my name is Jonathan Wilber, but most people call me Jon. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering in June, 2012.

I enjoy both software and web development. To view some of my work, please take a look at my portfolio.

Industry History

Upon entering college I helped form JST Design - a design company focusing on website development. Our clients mostly consisted of businesses that needed relatively small web solutions. The company really helped expand my skills in web development by allowing me to develop independently.

I also interned at UNICON International -- a technology consultant firm -- during college. There I learned about various information technology processes, and I helped maintain internal systems.

After graduation I worked a small stint as an Oracle DBA for the educational management company, Ellucian. Later I made the move back into software development.

I currently work as a Java developer for UNICON International. My current project is a web application that tracks air emissions for the state of Wyoming's Air Quality Division.

Recently I became certified as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org.

Future

I am always looking for the next challenge whether it is in software engineering, web development, or mobile application development; nonetheless, I am always looking to expand my horizons.
